Fitness-related New Years resolution? Capable of picking up and moving a large piece of fitness equipment? This could be your lucky day.
I have a LifeFitness X8 elliptical machine—this is a big, serious fitness-club-style elliptical machine.
It's about 10 years old but in great condition, well-maintained, and works beautifully.
(There's a small servo motor that apparently sometimes fails on these machines; we had ours replaced last year and it's as good as new.
) It has 20 resistance levels, adjustable stride length (which really works and is amazing—way better than cheap home elliptical machines), User Profiles, custom routes/routines where you set your own resistance course, etc.
I even have a mat for it to sit on and the original user's manual, also available for free.
Why on earth am I giving this away? Because I'm moving, and my new place has no room for it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This machine is seriously HEAVY.
I will require at least two strong people and a truck/cargo van/etc.
According to the official specs, it weighs 250 pounds.
One person cannot possibly carry this.
Dimensions are 83 x 26 x 63 inches (L x W x H).
(If you're really knowledgable about fitness equipment, you could probably disassemble it, but I don't recommend that unless you really know what you're doing.
) I've moved it to the garage so at least you don't have to get it downstairs.
But anyway: 250 pounds.
SECOND IMPORTANT NOTE: This machine must be picked up this week.
I am out of town until Tuesday night.
Ideally you are able to pick this up sometime on Wednesday (Dec 27) or Thursday (Dec 28).
Friday the 29th might be possible.
