Earth Science Instructor (Remote Position) (Mid-Wilshire)

SUMMARY Los Angeles Pacific College is a private 2-year college seeking a part-time Earth Science instructor to teach one evening course.
The instructor will teach an elective class for our Associate Degree programs.
The candidate will teach remotely however, an in-person interview must be scheduled to be considered for the position.
POSITION SUMMARY • Two evenings per week (Tue/Thur), 6:30pm - 10:00pm • Class schedule 04/14/2024 – 06/13/2024 • This course is an introduction to our planet and its four main spheres: the biosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and atmosphere.
Students will learn how these four very distinct components work together as one whole.
The instructor has the opportunity to adjust the course material.

A.
degree with at least 15 units of undergraduate study in a science; • Science major preferred, • 2 year teaching experience preferred.
• Native-like English speaker.
SALARY $22 per hour.
