Program Aide (includes driving)

*Job description* *\*\*This position may start from Los Angeles (90031) or Bell (90201) CA.
* Driver Program Aide--- Provides Transportation/care and supervision for adults who are developmentally disabled and/or fragile.
Works under the direction of transportation and Program Supervisor.
SUMMARY of Duties: This position is for drivers to transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from the day program.
During downtime, the employee assists as a program aide in personal care services and activities.
Some of the major duties include but are not limited to: \* Pick-up and Drive back adults with disabilities from home to program and back to their home, while in program monitor and supervise clients to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
\* Attend to the clients, while in program with personal care needs and supervision.
\*While in program work with individual clients towards meeting the objectives set forth on the Individual Plan of Care.
\* Assist during meal time to ensure client is able to consume meal provided.
\*Assist with the process of arrival and departure of clients.
\*In program, interact with and engage clients during their daily activities.
\*Inform program supervisor of any issues or concerns with the clients care or Supervision.
\*Complete any required documentation or progress notes as directed by supervisor.
\* Offer assistance to fellow co-workers in the supervision of clients and in completing activities of daily living.
\*Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Director Split Shift Position.
Requirements: *Possess an active Commercial Class C w/passenger endorsement, or a Class B license*.
Current H6 DMV Printout 21 years of age with good driving record Possess a current First/Aid CPR certification Follow all company policies and procedures Pass livescan and DOT physical Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
