Your Role:
As an RSK OTR driver, you will play a vital role in:
* Seamlessly Transporting Goods: You will be entrusted with a 53-foot dry van trailer to transport goods safely to various locations, including shippers and warehouses.
* Customer Engagement: Your interaction with customers, including obtaining signatures and managing documentation, is part of our comprehensive service promise.
* Regulatory Compliance: We rely on you to manage service hours efficiently and ensure adherence to all transportation laws to maintain our excellent safety record.
* Equipment Management: Perform vehicle inspections to maintain the highest standards of safety and report any discrepancies for prompt action.
* Communication: Work cohesively with dispatchers and team members for efficient load management and driving routes.
Qualifications:
* Valid CDL: A clean, valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
* Driving Expertise: At least 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver.
* Maintenance Know-How: Basic knowledge of diesel repair and maintenance to assist with vehicle care.
* Impeccable Safety Record: A history of safe driving with no accidents or traffic violations.
* Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication abilities and a knack for thriving in a team setting.
