POSITION: Material Handler/Driver
STATUS: Full time, contract (4-8 months)
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM,
Rotating weekends/holidays
Overtime may be required, up to twice a week.

JOB DUTIES:
Receive, deliver, and ship equipment and supplies.
Receive, deliver, and store hazardous materials such as medical gas cylinders.
Utilize space in the most efficient manner; process incoming and outgoing shipments from the docking/receiving area.
Complete receiving reports and prepare shipping documents.
Facilitate the movement of materials in accordance with priorities, scheduling requirements, and space allocations.
Communicate discrepancies to leadership.
Make off-site deliveries in motor vehicles, trucks, or vans not exceeding 29,000 Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), equipped with electrical or hydraulic lift.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Will work in vehicles and warehouses that may have varying temperatures (hot, cold), drafts, and poor lighting.
Will perform outdoor work on docks, making deliveries in all weather conditions during all seasons.
Will handle hazardous materials as part of daily work activities.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid state driver's license or commercial driver's license (CDL).
Must have a clean driving record.
Must have the ability to operate motor vehicles or commercial vehicles.
Must be familiar with warehouse operations and inventory management.
Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
Must have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Must be physically fit and capable of working in a demanding environment.
Must demonstrate a commitment to adhering to safety regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
