Yard Hostler

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Yard Hostler to join our team.
As a Yard Hostler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers and equipment within the yard.
This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and maintaining a well-organized yard.
Duties: - Safely operate yard hostler equipment to move trailers and equipment within the yard - Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order - Maneuver trailers into designated parking spots or loading docks - Communicate with supervisors and other team members to coordinate yard movements - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations Skills: - Commercial driving experience, preferably with experience operating yard hostlers or similar equipment - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills to coordinate movements with team members We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
