Day Program Driver

Responsible for operating assigned vehicles in full compliance with the California Department of Transportation Motor Vehicles regulations and current laws of the state of California.
The driver is responsible for the timely pick-up of passengers to and from their destinations.
The driver is to report to the Transportation Director.
DUTIES: Perform and fill out a pre-trip Bus Driver Daily inspection Report form, everyday before departing the Willing Workers, inc.
parking lot to ensure that the vehicle is in safe and clean operating conditions.
Submit a Bus Driver Daily Inspection Report and Driver’s roll sheet to the Transportation Director every day, after each trip.
Report any irregularities of vehicle operations or performance immediately to the Maintenance Mechanic and Transportation Director.
Supervise Parking lot activities, control incoming and outgoing traffic, direct visitors to specific personnel or departments they wish to visit, maintaining the security of the Willing Workers Parking lot.
Under the direction of the Program Management, the coach is to provide treatment, planning, and diagnostic services to individuals; implement specific programs designed to improve the functioning of the consumer, and/or to coordinate specific treatments plans with the senior adult development coach.
QUALIFICATIONS: · License Class B or Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
· High School Diploma or its equivalent and/or 3 years’ experience working with developmentally delayed/disabled adults.
· Ability to follow Lanterman Act Functions.
· Ability to establish therapeutic relationships with consumers.
· Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
