Vista Del Mar provides a trauma-responsive continuum of services to empower children, youth, and families in Southern California to lead fulfilling lives.
*Role Overview:*
The Part Time Driver - NPS (Non-Public School: Vista School) is responsible for door-to-door transportation of Special Education Students.
_*Essential Job Duties:*_
• Provide services in and around the Los Angeles County area
• Pick up and drop off students
• Maintain and update route sheets
• Monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies.
• Complete daily van safety check including: Check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed.
• Submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned.
_*Qualifications:*_
• Must be able to meet the insurance underwriting conditions.
• Must have an acceptable driving record
• Ability to interrupt physical altercations among students and administer CPR/First Aid
• May be required to obtain a Class B Driver’s License
*What You Bring to VDM:*
• High School Diploma
• Driving experience transporting students
• COVID Vaccination Card (fully vaccinated) required.
