About the Position:
A driver's primary role revolves around transporting passengers or freight from one place to another and ensuring their safe journey, which includes adherence to traffic regulations, accurate route following, fuel management, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
Punctuality and geographical knowledge are also integral to their role.
A driver's critical competencies include navigating through busy roads and maintaining an upbeat demeanor, which ensures customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Adherence to all traffic regulations
Defensive driving for safety assurance
Keep all windows in the vehicle spotless
Keep the interior of the vehicle spotless
Ensuring sufficient fuel for each trip
Accurate recording of fuel consumption, mileage, and other relevant data
Regular vehicle maintenance
Accurately follow the correct route
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
Assist with warehouse duties, such as inventory management and organizing shipments.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.

Qualification Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
Have been driving for at least five years
Minimum of 1 year of truck driving experience
The ability to handle varying roads, traffic, and weather conditions is mandatory.
Excellent time management abilities
Exceptional customer service skills and attentiveness
Capacity to operate a vehicle for up to 8 hours
Must be able to lift to 45 pounds and perform tasks such as sitting, bending, stooping, and standing for long periods.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours, if required.
