This position is for a cleaner or a cleaner that can perform handyman tasks.
This is not a handyman only position, it would not be worth your time.
The position pays per job; however, during your training you will be paid an hourly rate of $25 per hour for cleaning.
Handyman is $35 per job or $35 per hour if it takes more than an hour (Example: if unclogging a sink takes 1 hour 15 mins, $70 for the task.
)
Experienced cleaner is a plus but will hire the right person to train.
Must have reliable transportation (A personal vehicle able to transport supplies, not public transportation)
Must have a valid ID and SSN
We specialize in cleaning short term rentals
Work hours are from approximately 11A to 5P
You must have your own cleaning supplies (Vacuum, spin mop, carrying cart for supplies and tools, microfibers) Cleaning liquids (Mop solution, windex, etc.
) are provided.
If you do not own cleaning supplies but prove you are able to do the job, we will purchase your cleaning supplies for you but the cost of the items will be deducted from your first paycheck.
Example of a typical day:
You will pick up linens, cleaning supplies etc from our location from La Brea/Venice
Drive to the assigned area (up to 15 miles away, once you arrive in the area, all jobs are within 3 miles radius).
You will be assigned a number of jobs in the area, you will be expected to finish all jobs in a timely manner.
We try to schedule all maintenance issues on the same day of cleaning.
Drop off dirty linens on same day or next day that you work.
Any reasonable complaints must be fixed (You will not be compensated for returning to fix your errors.
Unreasonable complaints you will be compensated.

Example of a reasonable complaint: the cleaner forgot to empty my garbage can, the cleaner left dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the cleaner left food stains on the floor, the beds were made sloppy.
Compensation is every Mondays
Work week starts on Monday, ends on Sunday.
