I am building a website (which will eventually be an Apple and Android App also).
It is a learning platform with lots of lessons, covering grades K-12.
An element of this website will be a customizable avatar, where you can change elements such as skin color, hair color, eye color, hair style, eye style, nose, lips, ears, shirt, shorts, pants, shoes, backpacks, and other things like watches and pins on the backpack, etc.
Users will be able to unlock more styles, etc.
with points they earn from games and quizzes.
I have different members of my team doing different things (developers, UX, designers, etc.
), and I’m currently looking for a developer for the customizable avatar element.
As a base, the avatar should have maybe 15 elements that can be changed, with maybe 15 options for each element.
I’m open to the avatar being 2D, but would like to have multiple 2D perspectives.
I am also open to the avatar being 3D.
I am looking for an idea of what the lead time and cost would be for this, assuming I have a designer handling the creation of the assets, and assuming all elements are one size fits all (any hairstyle will fit on any head, and any nose will fit, etc.
