JOB SUMMARY:
SMBC Manubank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Manager to join our dynamic IT team.
As an Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's infrastructure and cloud systems.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our corporate infrastructure and cloud platforms.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and manage the organization's infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure components.
Develop and maintain infrastructure policies, procedures, and documentation.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Adhere to SMBC standards and controls to maintain security, compliance, and risk management within the infrastructure environment.
Cloud Management:
Manage the organization's cloud infrastructure and services, including public and private cloud platforms.
Design and implement cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
Monitor cloud resource usage/costs and implement strategies for optimization.
Implement and maintain cloud security measures and compliance standards.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into applications and workflows.
Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of infrastructure and cloud engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Set clear goals and expectations for the team and monitor their performance.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Coordinate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.
Vendor/Managed Services Management:
Evaluate and select infrastructure and cloud service providers.
Manage managed service provider relationships and contracts, ensuring service level agreements are met.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and implement new solutions.
Act as strategic partner with our parent company’s (SMBC) IT and Procurement organization.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in infrastructure management, including server administration, networking, and virtualization.
Extensive experience (3+ years) in managing cloud platforms, such as Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
Previous experience in a leadership or management role is required.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
Strong understanding of various Azure components including but not limited to Entra ID, DevOps, W365 Cloud PC, Azure Virtual Desktop.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools, such as Terraform or Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of network protocols, security, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Leadership and Communication:
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a technical team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
Certifications (preferred):
Relevant industry certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
ITIL Foundation or other IT service management certifications.
