As a Technology Engineer Under general direction, plays a cross functional leadership role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and smooth operation of information technology systems that support CG’s business functions.
Leads all phases of complex product engineering and operational lifecycles.
This includes research/strategize, requirements/planning, building/testing, and Run/Support.
Is a point of escalation for complex and difficult operational issues by applying expert level technical and analytical abilities identifies, communicates, and resolves complex issues to minimize outage to critical business functions and maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Role Description

Leads complex solution projects and initiatives and manages the solution lifecycle Leads or significantly contributes to functional and non-functional requirements analysis.
You participate in research of internal improvement opportunities for process re-engineering automation within the domain.
You ensure and up to date understanding of CG businesses and the role the specific technology plays to support underlying business functions.
You ensure up to date understanding of CG technology strategies and roadmaps.
You can translate complex business requirements in technology solutions considering alternatives and recommending complex solution designs for product domain.
You are a primary team member and leads solution initiatives utilizing all aspects of the solution life cycle.
You are responsible for management and feature prioritization of the product/solution.
You lead functional and non-functional requirements analysis.
You can lead and is consulted on complex or cross functional root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues.

You have at least 10 years of software engineering experience, being part of a team building applications using any of the following: .
Net, Java, Python, PowerShell or similar technologies.
You can design and implement RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Azure Functions
You develop and maintain data storage solutions using AWS S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Azure Storage, or similar technologies.
You preferably have experience with data visualization/data manipulation tools like Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Alteryx, etc
You apply best practices for cloud security, performance, and reliability.
You troubleshoot and resolve issues with the cloud infrastructure and applications.
You write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
You participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
You stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.
You drive solution design and build execution.
You drive test planning and test execution.
You have Knowledge of CG’s software development lifecycle approaches and technologies a plus.
You can deal with ambiguity, manage complexity & drive for results, ultimately taking end-to-end ownership of the outcome.
You can mentor and coach junior engineers.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
You have familiarity with electronic communication archiving and surveillance a plus.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $140,995-$225,592
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
