Description
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will be responsible for the computational analysis of single-cell genomics data generated from primary human and animal tissues.
We will consider candidates with a demonstrated background in coding using Python, R, Matlab, Perl or other programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics.
We also require candidates to have previous experience with common genomic data types such as RNA-seq, ATAC-seq or other types relevant data types.
At the beginning of the appointment the incumbent will be trained in the analysis of data types commonly generated in the Luo lab including snmC-seq (single-cell methylomes) 1, sn-m3C-seq (joint profiling of methylation and chromatin conformation) 2 and snmCAT-seq (joint profiling of RNA and methylation) 3.
In addition to analyze datasets generated by the Luo Lab, the incumbent will carry out integrative analysis with published datasets such as scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq and other types of single-cell genomics data types.
The incumbent will generate publication-quality results and figures to support manuscripts and grant applications from the lab.
