JOB SUMMARY:
Designs, evaluates, and tests data infrastructure.
Builds systems and infrastructure that collect and process data according to company needs and goals.
Specializes in creating robust, scalable ETL processes and integrations with RestAPI and JSON-RPC APIs for efficient data ingestion and processing.
Develops and maintains the infrastructure to support data workflows and analytics platforms.
Utilizes and enhances existing data infrastructure for comprehensive data management tasks including data housekeeping, cleansing, normalization, and hashing.
Troubleshoots issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for efficient data ingestion, processing, and analysis from a variety of sources, including custom code integrations with RestAPI and JSON-RPC APIs.
Implement and refine algorithms for data classification, anomaly detection, and information extraction to enhance data quality and utility.
Enhance and optimize data architecture to support both real-time and batch data processing, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, including data model designs and API integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, providing support and guidance to ensure continuity and efficiency of data operations.
Proactively identify opportunities for data infrastructure improvements and innovations to support business growth and efficiency.
Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and quality frameworks to maintain high standards of data integrity and reliability.
Perform other duties as assigned, such as ancillary automation tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS: TECHNICAL SKILLS & ABILITIES Proficient in ETL process design, development, and optimization.
Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and management concepts.
Knowledgeable in scripting and automation tools, with proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure (Azure & AWS) for data processing and storage.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git, for managing changes to codebase and documentation.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
Able to work independently and communicate clearly.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

3+ years of experience in a data engineering role, with a proven track record of developing and managing ETL processes, data pipelines, and integrations.
Experience with data processing frameworks and tools (e.
g.
, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, Databricks).
Experience with productivity software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
