UX Designer – Mobile App.

Reporting to the UX Design Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping these experiences, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and excellence in user-centric design.
You should be a self-starter who possesses the autonomy and expertise to execute complete design projects independently.
What you will Do: You'll define and shape the UX of shopping experiences for Fabletics and Yitty brands, setting high standards for design and usability.
Conducting research and developing user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, you will collaborate closely with product managers and software engineers to address various platform challenges.
Your responsibility extends to developing and managing stakeholders, and managing UX deliverables within projects from inception to completion.
Strategy Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align UX strategies with broader organizational goals.
Translate business objectives into a clear design vision and ensure design decisions contribute to long-term strategic direction.
Define goals, priorities, and design strategies for the product.
User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and usability testing to gain insights and identify areas for improvement.
Develop user personas, customer journeys, and wireframes to inform design decisions.
Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and spec documentation to support product definition and development.
Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards and are optimized for various devices and platforms.
Prototyping and Interaction Design: Own the full user experience from concept to polished UI designs.
Create interactive prototypes and design mockups to illustrate and communicate design concepts and interactions.
Build UI systems that scale in production, ensuring consistency and usability across all digital platforms.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to align on project goals and deliver a unified user experience.
Collaborate across disciplines to explore, test, and evolve our website e-commerce platform.
Inspire a culture of excellence and guide the professional development of other designers.
Participate in ideation and scoping for new products and initiatives.
Clearly articulate design choices and seek feedback early and often.
Deliver compelling presentations that communicate design ideas effectively to a wide audience.
Design System Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency in design and user experience.
Partner with internal creative teams to align on project objectives, brand identity, and visual design expectations.
Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest UX design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Drive innovation in design and advocate for trends and best practices in UI/UX for ecommerce and subscription applications.
What You Can Bring: Bachelor's degree in UX design, HCI, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in UX design, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring design teams.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and development of design systems.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
Advanced expertise in research, interface, and interaction design for consumer-facing ecommerce and subscription applications.
Understanding of accessibility standards (e.
g.
, WCAG) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond flexibly to evolving needs.
Experience working in an agile planning environment.
