Duties:
- Collaborate with the game development team to design and implement gameplay mechanics, systems, and features
- Write and maintain scripts using scripting languages such as C# or JavaScript
- Develop user interfaces using CSS and HTML5
- Utilize version control systems like GitHub to manage source code
- Work with integrated development environments like Visual Studio to build and debug game code
- Create and implement 3D animations for characters, objects, and environments
- Use programming languages like C++ to optimize game performance
- Utilize game engines such as Unity to develop and test game prototypes
- Integrate external APIs for features like multiplayer functionality or in-game purchases
- Collaborate with artists, sound designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and engaging gameplay experience
- Follow Agile development methodologies to meet project deadlines and milestones
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as C# or JavaScript
- Experience with CSS and HTML5 for user interface design
- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub for source code management
- Proficiency in integrated development environments like Visual Studio for coding and debugging
- Knowledge of 3D animation techniques and software tools
- Strong programming skills in languages like C++ for optimization purposes
- Experience with game engines such as Unity for game development
- Understanding of APIs and their integration into game systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with artists, sound designers, and other developers
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies for efficient project management
