ROLE SUMMARY
The Systems Engineer III/Sr.
Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for planning and designing a bank’s organization’s systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software, network, and cloud environments.
The Systems Engineer III/Sr.
Infrastructure Engineer will analyze, develop, modify, test and maintain the system.
Create solutions via code to enhance systems, integrations, reports, and analytics.
Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure and systems, including cloud tools and services.
Responsible for automation of complex technical tasks and serve as escalation for Information Technology team to address and resolve technical problems.
Liaises with vendors and staff to improve systems and integrate new solutions that benefit the organization.
Excellent customer service skills, desire to learn, and a positive motivation toward swift resolutions are essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and maintain on-premises and/or cloud-based infrastructure solutions (e.
g.
, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Manage and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting languages and tools (e.
g.
, Python, Bash, Ansible, PowerAutomate, PowerShell)
Configure and manage various IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and security solutions
Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and resource utilization
Participate in projects and leads junior members in achieving technical goals.
Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Maintains the vendor management system and leads vendor due diligence
Stay up-to-date on the latest infrastructure technologies and trends
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members
Document infrastructure configurations and procedures
Serves as escalation point for Engineering team in resolving complex issues
Active contributor to regulatory and compliance related processes and examinations
Develops technical documentation on environment and configurations

Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required Education/Experience:
7+ years of IT experience.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong Experience with Windows Server / Active Directory and Windows desktop administration in a domain environment.
Experience with systems administration, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policies, network management, firewalls, Switches and Routers.
Experience with Citrix, VMware, virtual servers, SAN Storage, High Availability
Advanced knowledge and expertise with Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, MS Teams, VoIP and telephony.
Preferred Education/Experience:
Regulatory compliance experience preferred.
Previous banking experience a plus

Advanced knowledge and expertise with Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, MS Teams, VoIP and telephony.

Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential.
