Boeing Enterprise Software AI/ML Center (BEAC) is seeking AIML Software Engineers (Mid-Level or Senior).
As an AIML Software Engineer for our AI Factory team, you will be responsible for Creation of best-in-class models and ensembles that can be re-purposed and reused, covering domains of Classification, Prediction, Fusion, Decision Making, and Generative AI solutions.
You will work closely with our global team, AI Foundations (for MLOps and DataOps development), AI Innovations (Application and consulting arm of the BEAC, developing the AI applications) and Business Unit partners to help solve some of the most challenging problems.

Position Responsibilities: Research and Development of models and ensembles covering: Classification Supervised (CNN, Unet, YOLO, et al) Unsupervised (DBSCAN, K-Nearest, Adaboost, et al) Prediction Predictors (LSTM, UConv, et al) regressors (Bayesian, linear, et al) Fusion (sensor level, and entity level) Decision Making (Task assignments, combinatorial and parametric optimizations, Reinforcement Learning, Path Planning, et al) Generative (LLMs, Stackable LLMs, et al) Machine Learning, AI, Deep Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Text (Classification, NLP, Topic and Language Modeling, Sentiment Analysis, Information Retrieval), Recommender Systems and Personalization, Fraud Risk and Threat Detection, Computer Vision, Data Mining, Statistics, Big Data, et al.
This position is hybrid.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 3+ years of experience in developing models and ensembles in the AI/ML space Experience with Python Experience with AI/ML technologies, frameworks, models and ensembles Experience with Pytorch, SciKit Learn, Tensorflow, or similar backend frameworks Experience with Classification Supervised and Unsupervised models Experience with Decision Making models such as; reinforcement learning or et al Experience with Prediction models, including time series models, regressors, et al Experience with Model Serving pipelines, microservice architectures, dynamic library creation, and static library creation Experience with next-generation algorithms and models, including Neurosymbolic reasoning models, Liquid time-constant models (LTCs), etc Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers Experience working in a global team Experience with optimizing and validating models Experience with V&V test benches Experience with Explainable AI (XAI) techniques Experience with ONNX (Open Neural Net Exchange) Experience with complex issues; responds effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information simply Experience with GenAI models, including LLMs Experience with ML Ops and Data Ops Experience with software architectures and software implementations Typical Education/Experience: Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
