Maki Chef - Katsuya Hollywood

*Job Summary:* The Maki Chef is responsible for preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications.
Able to work efficiently and quickly.
Hygiene and cleanliness are among the top priorities of this position.
Must be able to follow directions, stay organized, be punctual and attentive.
Sushi/fish fabrication experience strongly preferred.
*Responsibilities:* · Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
·  Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
·  Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation.
·  Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently.
·  Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
·  Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
*Requirements* · High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Current Food Handlers card.
· Ability to read and follow cooking specifications and directions.
· Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
· Ability to work on feet for the duration of shift.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
· Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and interpret business documents in the English language.
This position requires a minimum of conversational Spanish.
Bi-lingual in the Spanish language preferred (If applicable).
· Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States.
· Minimum age requirements may apply depending on concept.
