Job Description:
The In-Room Dining Server provides customers food and beverage items to their guest rooms in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.
General Responsibilities Include:
Serve food and beverage items to guest rooms
Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Follow specified procedures to provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to guests in their rooms.
Taking accurate inventory of all product
Posting appropriate charges to the guest room bill
Cleaning, maintaining and stocking inventory.
Delivering the food/beverage to the guests' ensuring proper food/beverage item order is served to specific guest
Returns and properly stocks all dishes for cleaning
Promotes proper sanitation and safety for guests and colleagues at all times
Preparing and Delivering service trays
Picking up tables and trays after service
Deliver amenities to guest rooms
Skills/Knowledge Required:
-Must possess a positive attitude
-Must be energetic and outgoing
-Must be service oriented
-Must be a team player
-Must be able to multi-task
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
-Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs.
on a regular and continuing basis
-Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
Qualification Standards:
Education: High school or equivalent education preferred.
Experience: 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position
Licenses or Certificates: Food Handler Certification Required
Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
The expected pay for this position i: $15.
50 per hour.
