Position Summary:
Responsible for creating and facilitating an environment focused on guest relations while ensuring the financial integrity of each transaction throughout the shift.
Verifies initial cash.
Answers phone calls.
Responsible for making coffee/tea, cooking soups, set up displays, set up and break down of condiment station and FOH set up.
Makes beverages, keeps FOH stocked, frosts cakes, cuts bars/brownies, empties trash at end of shift or as required.
Assists with clean up/sweeping and mopping as required.
May substitute for Expo, SA, or bussing if needed.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Makes coffee/tea and other drinks as required serves as barista for specialty drinks
Packages sweets and cakes
Sets up and maintains abundant displays/changes out displays based on time of day
Responsible for condiment station set up
Responsible for FOH set up (table tents/stanchion signs, etc.
Responsible for cashier station to include operation and cash flow
Verify initial cash
Ensures accurate financial transactions
Answer phone
Can describe food offerings/allergens/nutrition
Engages in upselling and suggestive selling of our products
Frost Cakes
Responsible for maintaining a stocked FOH
Cut bars/brownies
Empty trash when required
Mop and sweep as required
Communicates effectively with guest
Alerts Manager to any guest issues for immediate resolution
Smile, friendly, takes appropriate action to guest requests
Supports and promotes company initiatives (sales goals, guest service goals, food safety goals)
Follows safety and sanitation requirements

Additional duties as required such as cleaning, food prep, displays, etc,
High School diploma or equivalent.
State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
Preferably a minimum of 3months work experience in a cash handling capacity.
Restaurant or retail environment preferred
Possess strong guest service and communication skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
Proficient in use of POS Point of Sale systems.
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
