Responsibilities:
Maintain health and safety in the class.
Teach introductory concepts based on weekly themes during morning and afternoon circle times.
Reading books using character voices, learning songs, dances and fun interactive experiences like finger puppets.
Plan and organize play centers, creative projects and pretend/dress up activities.
Implement and teach kids clean up and transition activities.
Oversee meal time, help kids eat and teach proper way of holding utensils and cups.
Maintain hygiene by washing hands pre and post activities and maintain diaper change, activities and meal logs.
Communication with parents and teachers.
Work Experience: At least 1-3 years or more as a teacher assistant and or teacher in infant through preschool settings.
Skills: Organized, plan ahead, creative and non-confrontational.
Team player, smiling personality and easy going personality.
Education: Minimum of 12 units in Child Development, CPR, Mandatory Reporter certificate, TB, dtap and MMR vaccination.
