The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Bike Instructors for our Summer Camps to join our team.
Here’s how this job plays a role:
As a bike instructor you will spend your days outside while inspiring the next generation of cyclists.
It’s active, it’s adventurous, it’s fun and it’s incredibly rewarding.
You don’t have to be a bike expert because we provide training for our programs for you to get going in your new role!
WORK DATES:
Work dates vary based on locations but range from June to mid August 2024
LOCATIONS:
We have camp locations in the following areas: Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, Orange County, Palos Verdes, Pasadena, and Santa Monica

WAGES:
Los Angeles: $17.
27 /hour
West Hollywood: $19.
08 /hour
What you’d be responsible for
In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build, in this role, you’ll also be:
Teaching our daily Pedalheads camp programs for children ages 2-12 years
Actively introduce children new bike skills
Ensure the health and safety of children at camp
Act as a positive role model and leader at all times
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
Skills, knowledge and experience
Here are some of the skills/ specifics and experience that are important for this role:
You will be at least 16 years of age by the start of camp
Comfortable leading a group of up to 6 children (training provided)
Committed to keeping our campers safe
You are energetic, creative, motivated and fun
Hold or willing to get a current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate
Criminal record check required for ages 18+
You have access to a bike and helmet and are able to ride a bike proficiently
