*We are hiring two Outdoor Educator/Hike Leaders to be part of our summer team of Camp Wildcraft Guides for our sites in Malibu and Calabasas.
Camp Wildcraft is a a Los Angeles based art and nature day camp.

For this position we are specifically seeking camp staff who have experience leading hikes and nature activities for children.
_*The Camp Wildcraft mission is to grow creative, curious, confident and caring kids who feel at home in nature.

*Applicants must have access to a car, there is no public transportation to our site.
Our Calabasas address is 1666 Las Virgenes Canyon Rd, Calabasas, our Malibu address is 3504 Las Flores Canyon Road, Malibu.
*Our Outdoor Educator/ Wildcraft Guide work as part of a collaborative team of Guides (AKA camp counselors )* to supervise, inspire and create engaging activities for our multi-age groups (ages 4-14).
_*IN ADDITION *_*our Outdoor Educator will help to lead our daily hikes and nature activities (with additional Guides)*.
In Calabasas, we hike along the Santa Monica Mountain trails which are connected to our campus at the MUSE Global School.
Our campus is across the street and next to both King Gillette Ranch and Malibu Creek Park in Calabasas.
In Malibu, we explore the tadpole filled creek which runs along our campus.
We are seeking energetic, warm and fun specialists who have experience hiking and exploring nature with kids, know how to keep kids safe, are able to engage kids with activities and observations on the trail.
Our summer staff are trained to build on, and harness their own strengths and experiences to build a warm, kind, inclusive and inspiring community where campers and staff feel a greater connection to each other--and the natural world.

All Guides need to be certified in CPR and first aid and are provided an online course prior to the start of camp.

9th, 8am to 4pm, Monday - Friday.
There is a mandatory, paid staff training June 9-11th and June 15th (Malibu staff.
