Job Description
High profile family is seeking a full time travel nanny for a baby between the ages of 7-10 months.
The family lives between California and Georgia and will be working with the nanny in Australia.
Looking for someone ASAP.
Nanny should be able to fly to Atlanta or California with the family or to meet with the family, before flying to Australia.
Family will be flying to Australia Mid-March until Mid-Late June.
This job requires a lot of travel but will largely take place in Australia.
Will do a Zoom interview first and then will fly candidate for a short trial.
The ideal candidate is someone who is very private and discreet - this is very important! - someone who takes direction well and who pays attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, verifiable experience with high profile families, is CPR and First Aid certified, has experience working with families on the go and has experience traveling as a nanny with families for long periods of time.
The right nanny for this family has a high level of effective and active and proactive communication skills, doesn’t interrupt, is very focused on the baby and all of their needs, is kind, gentle and careful and is NOT actively following the parents on social media, keeping up to date with the parent’s engagements, or asking questions about their work, family structure or private/ personal life.
The ideal candidate understands boundaries, is discreet, is protective of the baby, listens to the parents and follows their direction, needs and instructions, doesn’t ask personal questions or want to “befriend” the parents and knows how to read a room.
The nanny will be responsible for cooking for, tidying and caring for the baby first and foremost, but may be asked to continue the cleanliness of the space (including the kitchen) and keeping baby’s room, things and area clean.
You will be expected to maintain baby’s schedule, including probiotics drops, reading, color flash cards, Montessori teaching, developmental milestones goals and achievements, daily outings to the park, museums and sight seeing, etc.
NO EXCEPTION: High profile experience, 7+ years of experience with infants, verifiable references, background checks, clean driving record, superb service, easy to be around, COVID vaccinated and boosted, updated TDAP vaccine, CPR/ First Aid certified, signing and completion of family NDAs and agreements before hiring.
IN ADDITION: Additionally, the nanny can keep a strict schedule, is timely, understands the importance of great manner (proper polish, table manners, keeps things nice and tidy), understanding developmental milestones, someone who is flexible with last minute location changes, is always keeping baby’s health and safety as the priority, someone who loves to be super helpful without being asked, being prepared at all costs is very important, is able to travel for weeks at a time, and someone who understands discretion.
This position requires someone who understands boundaries and privacy.
The family is kind, professional, caring, private, and very focused on the care of their child.
The family is looking for a cordial relationship with their nanny and one that is professional above all else.
Majority of communication about baby will be facilitated through Mom.
The ideal candidate will be willing to update the family frequently on baby’s day, activities, health and wellness and needs.
This includes sending photos and videos (which will either be sent through a given phone just for photos to the family) or which will be deleted from the nanny’s personal device daily.
The family is a very private family who requires a great deal of discretion when it comes to family and friends of the family and space during their off time with each other / taking meetings, in the home, etc.
