Rally Camps EMT/Nurse Intern

Rally Camps EMT/Nurse Intern Rally Camps is now hiring for an Assistant Site Director who will be the EMT/Nurse Intern for our summer youth camps in the LA Area.
Rally Camps feature five action-packed days of multi-sport individualized instruction, marquee competitions, and special events for boys and girls ages 4-14 of all skill levels.
Each camp session is a week long (Monday-Friday) from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and each day features a personal character theme, teaching campers lessons on the fields and courts that they can use off the playing field to become more outstanding young men and women.
Responsibilities: Ensure a safe camp environment for all staff, campers, and parents Administer first-aid properly as needed to campers and staff Manage medications for campers with life-threatening allergies and other medical needs (ex.
EpiPens) and ensure that each camp coach is aware of their campers who require extra attention Communicate to parents and headquarters regarding injuries, illnesses, and incidents that occur at camp Maintain detailed health records of campers Work proactively with all camp staff to ensure that a preemptive approach is taken, in order to minimize injury and risk Work with coaches and other staff members to help resolve camper conflicts and to create a positive and friendly environment for everyone involved with the camp Assist with the production and organization of essential camp reports including attendance, employee timekeeping, and customer service-related records Qualifications: Make a ten-week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day Be CPR/AED and First-Aid certified Be interested in gaining unique experience in the healthcare field Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Be prepared to travel to all of our sites throughout the LA Area with reliable transportation of your own Benefits: Work outdoors with young campers and connect with others who have similar interests Build valuable leadership experience representing a longstanding camp brand Attend our camper events on and offsite Our Interview Process: After your application is submitted, here is what you can expect next: Receive an invitation to complete a one-way interview Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our Rally Camps General Manager Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director Final decision!
