Set in the San Bernardino Mountains and equidistant from LA, San Diego, and the beach if you're looking for Christian community and a job that doesn't feel like a work, we're the place for you!
*As a Cabin Leader you will: *
- Supervise and be a role model for 5-8th graders over the course of 4 days and 3 nights
- Participate in camp-favorite activities like all-camp games, hiking, archery, low ropes challenge courses, skit nights, etc.
- Assist teammates with classes and serve in other camp departments as needed
*As a Naturalist you will:*
- Lead 5-8th graders on hikes while instructing hands-on classes in science, wilderness survival, and leadership over the course of 4 days and 3 nights.
- Lead & coordinate meals, all-camp games, evening programs, high ropes elements, skit nights, night hike, etc.
- Assist teammates with camp projects and serve in other camp departments as needed
*Qualified Team Members will have:*
- A personal commitment to Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior, and a desire to work in ministry, dedicated to drawing others to faith in God
- A high school diploma (required)
- A science or recreation background through formal education or experience (Naturalists, preferred not required)
-Previous experience working with kids or youth
- Previous formal/informal teaching & public speaking experience
- The physical fitness and mental fortitude to trail walk 1-4 miles/day (low intensity) and work longer camp days
- A desire to develop professional and spiritual life skills
- A desire to make lifelong friendships and build community
