We are currently seeking a student in the allied health or medical profession to join our Caregiver team.
The student (independent contractor) will be responsible for providing caregiving services to patients in natural environments (e.
g.
, home, beach, or park).
The ideal Caregiver will have experience in clinical/home settings and a passion for helping patients reach their highest level of independence.
*Responsibilities include:*
* *Providing direct patient care:* This may include tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients; assisting with mobility; and providing companionship.
* *Monitoring patients' health and well-being:* Caregivers may be expected to take the patient's vital signs, administer medications, and report any changes in the patient's condition to specified family members or medical professionals.
* *Educating patients and their families about their care:* Caregivers may participate in explaining the patient's condition in certain situations, as well as medications, and providing appropriate resources and support.
* *Working as part of a team with other healthcare professionals:* Caregivers may interact with nurses, doctors, social workers, and therapists as necessary to fulfill their caregiving responsibilities.
* *Maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times: *Caregivers provide vital care and comfort to families as they navigate life's challenges.
It is crucial for caregivers to interact with patients in a professional and supportive manner, from a place of compassion, strength, and empowerment.
