Part Time Nanny

* A lovely family in the Veteran’s Park area of Culver City is looking for a bilingual nanny to care for their happy 6 month old son and fun loving 4 year old daughter.
A care provider is needed Monday through Thursday for 5 – 6 hours each day.
The children’s grandmother will be in the home to support the nanny.
A warm and intuitive nanny who can provide a structured environment, foster the children’s independence, and who has experience with play-based learning is ideal.
* *Schedule:* * Monday - Thursday * Within the time frame of 8am to 6pm * Some flexibility in start/end time and options * Minimum of 5 hours of care per day * Occasional date night availability (evening/weekend) * *Start date: *ASAP * *End date: *Long term * *Rate: *$25-28/hr *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Excellent infant care for 6 month old * Afternoon/evening care for 4 year old (when she is home from school) * Developmentally-mindful play and activities * Light housekeeping * Light meal preparation * Providing transportation for 4 year old (pick-up from school and take to/from activities starting in August/September) *REQUIREMENTS:* * 2+ years professional childcare experience * _*Mandarin-speaking required*_ * Minimum of a high-school diploma or equivalent * Legally authorized to work in the United States * CPR certified or willing to become certified * Driver’s license with own vehicle + clean driving record * Smoking is not permitted on the premises *Compensation: *Position pays $25-28 per hour and the client is looking for approximately 20-24 hours of care per week, long-term.
