Playground Staff

Everest Value School is looking for Playground staff for elementary and middle school.
The playground position is Monday-Friday for 5hrs-8hrs for a competitive pay rate.
Playground Staff responsibilities include: Monitor, supervise, and assist in student safety during outdoor student activities (Recess, Lunch).
Supervise students during breakfast, recess and lunch time, and students on the school grounds in general.
encourage and remind students of acceptable behavior.
ensure students remain in properly assigned areas.
ensure students keep the areas of activities clean and organized.
report any unsafe conditions or equipment on the playground or any other areas as deemed necessary to the playground supervisor.
report all accidents or injuries to proper authority and complete appropriate form(s).
provide first-aid assistance for accidents.
instruct and monitor students in their proper conduct on the playground areas and when participating in student games.
Knowledge of basic: school safety rules, principles of first aid, and understanding of child growth; development, and attitudes.
maintain acceptable standards of behavior among students in the playground.
Work cooperatively with playground team.
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Assist in assignments from leadership team.
Qualifications: Desire to work with students grades TK-8th.
Ability to adapt to school requirements and needs.
Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
