The role may eventually become full-time if the mom returns to work.
The parents are searching for a warm, experienced nanny who's extremely knowledgeable with newborn/infant care, ideally has a background in child development and Montessori practices, and doesn't mind pitching in with some family tasks here and there.

If you have a genuine fondness for caring for little ones and the versatility to help a household run smoothly, this family would love to meet you! *THE INFANT | *At the tender age of six and a half weeks, she is described as a tranquil baby who sleeps well.
She is only breast-fed through nursing or bottles.
She follows a routine of eat, play and sleep.
*THE JOB DETAILS | *Provide loving care for the infant, focusing on nurturing development and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
Responsibilities include the comprehensive day-to- day care of the infant and collaborating closely with parents in their child-raising efforts.
The role involves working alongside the mom in managing the child’s care and overall well- being tasks.
This encompasses routine care, maintaining hygiene, creating engaging activities, diaper disposal, bottle sanitation, restocking necessary items, handling laundry, transitioning to solids, meal prep, etc.
Additional duties extend beyond childcare to include light housekeeping in common areas, such as tidying up, dishes, kitchen cleanliness, laundry for the parents, and occasionally cooking for the family, may also be part of the role, provided you enjoy cooking.
*THE IDEAL CANDIDATE | *With over a decade of professional experience in the field, they bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of early childhood development, whether it's years of hands-on professional experience or through formal education backed with experience.
They are knowledgeable with Montessori principles and adept at fostering an environment that nurtures and stimulates a child's intellectual and emotional growth through engaging, home-based activities tailored to their age.
Once the daughter is old enough, they are open to planning outings to enrich the childcare experience.

*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* A minimum of ten years of dedicated experience working as a professional nanny, preferably with newborns and infants.
A background in Montessori principles A deep-seated passion for child development and engagement in activities suitable for newborns, infants, and toddlers.
A sense of inspiration and pride in delivering high-quality childcare.
A strict non-smoking policy is in place for the well-being of the family environment.
Mandatory immunizations are required to work with newborns/infants - Tdap, flu, covid, etc.
The ideal candidate will be ready to make a stable, long-term commitment to the position, which offers part-time hours.
The family anticipates a consistent need for these services for years to come and may be interested in expanding the role to full-time at some point in the future.
*ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:* A valid and clear driver’s license A dependable personal vehicle for possible on-the-job driving A clear background/TrustLine Registry A Bachelor’s or Master’s in early childhood education, child development, or education The ability to travel with the family would be ideal Dog-friendly- the family has two small (under 30 pounds), calm, and hypoallergenic poodle/spaniel mixes.
Confident swimmer - the family has a pool and hopes the nanny and their daughter will eventually enjoy the pool together.
*CERTIFICATIONS AND REFERENCES:* CPR and First Aid Certification, pediatrics, and adults.
Excellent references attesting to the candidate's qualifications and professional demeanor.
*THE SCHEDULE | *The family can arrange the three most convenient days for the candidate.
Can be a combo of consecutive days or spread out throughout the weekday.
Examples, Mon to Weds, Tues to Thurs, Mon, Weds, Fri or Tues, Weds, Fri *THE HOURS | *The family will offer 8-hour shifts.
The candidate and parents will determine the times.
Examples, 9 AM to 5 PM, 10 AM to 6 PM or 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
*THE RATE | *$35 to $40 per hour DOE.
Guaranteed weekly hours.
Paid leave.
