After School Frontline Staff
*Summary*
EduCare Foundation is looking for 2-3 individuals that are able to lead classes in _dance, sports and fitness, videogames or whatever your area of expertise is_ and are willing to learn to provide services to students in various programs.
After-school Frontline Staff support students to provide enrichment and.
/or physical recreation programs for the EduCare After School Program.
The Site Staff works directly with the students as a tutor, instructor and/or coach, and creates engaging, interesting, educational and fun programs and activities.
The Program Leads mentor students and ensure a safe, caring after-school program environment for all students that encourages creativity, expression, and social emotional learning (SEL).
Our programs are student attendance based and staff must be able to retain students to keep the program open and running.
The Frontline Staff lead role is fifteen (15) hours a week, five (5) days a week, with occasional weekends.

Hawkins High School*_ *Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:* * Available a minimum of 15 hours/ 5 days a week *(3:30 PM-6:30 PM)* * Available some weekends * Ability to self-promote * Effective verbal communications and the ability to lead large groups * The ability to connect with and engage students of all ages and skill levels * Effective knowledge in the medium to instruct high school students in various projects * Prepare instructional, display, and work materials.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Supports the administration of monthly program calendars.
* Participates in monthly program observations and emergency drills.
* Maintains accurate records and organizes all site compliance and administrative documentation.
* Follows school, district and EduCare school site safety protocols, policies and procedures.
* Adheres to grant requirements and all after school policies and procedures as outlined in the After School Program Policies and Procedures Manual.
* Attends professional development, site staff meetings, and EduCare organizational meetings.
* Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
*Qualifications* * Must have a high school diploma or GED * 1 years’ experience working in youth-centered programs and/or community-based organizations * 1 years’ experience teaching, leading, and/or supporting students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
* Ability to work independently * Good communication skills * High Energy, Flexible, adaptable, team player, Self-starter * A valid Live Scan and Tuberculosis Test * Report all injuries/incidents neatly and efficiently in a timely manner * Staff regular attendance, dependability and punctuality in conformance with the standards are essential to the successful performance of this position.
* Attend monthly staff meetings and complete mandatory training as needed.
*Program Instruction* * Creates engaging and educational activities for assigned program(s).
* Documents programming and activities in activity plans.
* Actively manages assigned program(s), constantly interacts with and mentors the students attending the program(s), and encourages students to learn new things and step out of their comfort zone.
* Modifies programs and activities based on feedback from the students, and the Site Coordinator and/or other After School Program management.
* Performs daily Site Staff attendance responsibilities when leading programs: * Follows EduCare’s compliance procedures with regard to collecting and documenting students’ attendance in their programs and during events or field trips.
* Instructs the students to complete the sign-in and sign-out procedures, relays the Importance of the sign-in and sign-out process.
Monitors the students as they sign-in and sign-out to ensure the procedures are being followed.
* Submits completed and signed attendance sheets daily to the After School Program office.
