Sunrise is a small business owned by two individuals who share a passion for teaching the ocean and hold a commitment to supporting their local LA community.

We do regular staff surf trips, bbq's and beach days on top of sharing the stoke each day at work.
As a camp counselor, you’ll spend your time on the beach and in the water supervising, entertaining, and mentoring kids.
You don’t need to be a surfer to apply but do need excellent swimming skills and to be strong in the ocean.
Your typical day with campers will involve helping with land games, safety, organizing activities, swimming, and most importantly having fun.
Camp runs Monday through Friday 9 am-3 pm with 8-hour shifts available.
In addition we have tons of events and lessons during the weekend and weekdays.
We try to be as flexible and accommodating with hours as possible.

From getting to experience the business side of a small S-Corp to management; We regularly hire our counselors and instructors to partake in business operations such as programing, curriculum development, marketing, financials, and management.
