Title: Youth Athletics Staff (Part Time Non-Exempt)
Reports To: Site Director
This position requires the Youth Athletic Staff to work closely with Site Director at and help instruct and conduct recreational youth sport leagues including: soccer, baseball, flag football, volleyball as well as other sport options for youth ages 6-17.
This athletics staff will also assist/support and help with the setup of the fields and ensuring the equipment is available for each sport along with the coordination involving the leagues that involve all of our six sites.

* Provide leadership and vision in the improvement and development of existing and new innovative sports and recreation program development to better meet the needs of members and the community
* Develop and maintain effective gym, facility scheduling and equipment to best serve members of all ages when using the gym facilities
* Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization
* Provide Mentoring, Leadership and Supervision to assure proper conduct, safety and development of participants in line with our mission
* Ensure all Physical Education activities are implemented and evaluated to ensure programs run in accordance to our club mission and value
* Implement and evaluate athletics programs, ensure age appropriateness, gender balance, safety
* Implement and offer leagues/ games for seasonal sports (flag football, baseball, soccer, basketball)
* Develop program schedule, monthly calendars and evaluate programs to ensure all Goals and Objectives of programs are achieved
* Ensure program schedule is followed on a regular basis and all objectives of club programs are achieved
* Maintain close communication with Supervisor and regularly provide tracking data, program progress and concerns
* Other duties as assigned will be required as well.
You must be flexible as determined by the needs of the program (occasional Saturdays and late night hours)

*Program Development*
* Ensure staff understand and effectively communicate standards of program; that ensure program areas are safe, well ventilated and well lit and that all materials are maintained in good condition
* Ensure club policies and procedures are upheld in accordance with our Club mission with all program staff
* Assist Club Administration with special events and daily club issues
* Assist in Club Transportation Program and/or program related trips
* Maintain members order and discipline by managing members’ behavior; reinforce rules of the club and all the recreational areas
*SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:*
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
* Knowledge of the mission, objectives, policies, programs and procedures and of the principles and practices of non-profit organizations, youth development services preferred.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, members and Site Director.
Condition of Employment, Benefits and Minimum Qualifications: 1-2 years experience working in related field preferred and possess a Bachelors Degree in a related field.
A minimum of two years completed college courses /48 College Units.
