*ABOUT OUR SCHOOL*
*Kigala Preschool* is a Kids Garden of Languages, a multilingual preschool in Santa Monica, California, offering Spanish, German, and English immersion programs for ages 2-6.
Students and staff enjoy an inviting indoor and outdoor classroom learning environment, including an atelier/art studio.
The hands-on, project and theme-based curriculum allows for exploration and collaboration, with exposure to various world cultures, traditions, and celebrations.
*GERMAN PRESCHOOL TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS*
● Early Childhood Education units and experience in an ECE setting are preferred (One-year min.
)
● AA Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from the US or Equivalent credentials from other countries.
● Enjoys working in a collaborative teaching team.
● Fluent in English and German; Written and verbal language skills.
● Infant – Toddler Units and experience a plus
● Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and co-workers.
● Computer / tech-savvy
● Must pass fingerprinting, TB testing, immunization, and other state requirements, including CPR/First Aid certificate, Mandated, and pesticide training
● Must pass and have the physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach, carry, and lift 50 lbs
