*Job description*
Our preschool is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Lead teacher to join our team! We seek a candidate with at least 12 Child Development or Early Childhood Education units.
This teacher will incorporate their own experiences, talents, and passions into our school and curriculum while also learning and implementing our school’s philosophy
*Responsibilities*
* Provide relationship-based care in daily routines such as mealtime, toileting, hand washing, and napping for preschool age children.
* Plan and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
* Prepare and conduct parent-teacher conferences for each child in the assigned group according to the schedule of requirements.
* Utilize classroom materials and routines to promote an environment conducive to appropriate levels of development, interests, and specific needs of the children.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom
* Maintain a positive and welcoming classroom environment for children and families
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide a cohesive and effective program
* Provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged, and individuality respected
* Must be able to relate well with children/parents and all staff members.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by Head Teacher, Site Supervisor, and Administration
*Qualifications:*
1.
A minimum of 12 units in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
2.
Two Years of Experience working with Children
3.
CPR certified
4.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5.
Ability to work collaboratively with others
6.
Ability to meet state licensing requirements
7.
Ability to work in a diverse society
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $19.
50 - $23.
49 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
