7 hour working shift, 1 hour paid commute) to accommodate the difference in distance! * Children: 3 year old & 11 month old twins (boys) * Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm/10am-6pm (guarantee of 40 hours per week) with occasional flexibility to shift start time and end time * The family just moved to LA from Sweden and is excited to find a career nanny to grow with them for years to come! * The family’s oldest son has recently been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
It is important for the candidate to have a background in child development or prior experience working with children on the spectrum and/or neurodivergent children.
Their 3 year old loves the outdoors, playing catch, airplanes & story time.
He will begin preschool in the fall.
Their twins are curious and enjoy exploring! * Responsibilities: All duties pertaining to the children (primary care for their oldest), dropping off/picking up their oldest from preschool, taking the children to developmentally-appropriate activities, engaging and interactive play, children’s laundry, and collaborating/working alongside the children’s mother, who will be home with their nanny most of the time.
Their oldest child has not started speaking yet and will need assistance at meal time, although he is not at all a picky eater! Other family duties may be requested when needed.
* The family is seeking a nanny who is nurturing and can connect with the children and teach them empathy and kindness towards others! Their ideal nanny can meet each child’s individual needs.
* Travel: The family will be traveling to Sweden this summer from mid June to the beginning of August.
The family is flexible to the candidate taking on family assistant/admin duties while they are away.
They are also open to the candidate traveling with them, if their nanny would enjoy accompanying them for any portion of the time! Outside of that extended travel, they plan to travel 1-2 weeks per year and prefer their nanny to join them.
