We are a private, well established TK-8th grade, after-school enrichment program.
Our program introduces children to great artists, a life long appreciation towards music and great composers, the discovery of science, and exposure and understanding of various cultures.
Our goal is to inspire students by presenting programs that encourage creativity, investigation and discovery.
We have an available position for an *After School Program* *Enrichment Teacher* in the *Burbank* area.
We are seeking individuals for the 2023-2024 school year.
The position starts February 2024 and requires a commitment for the entire school year, February 2024 to late May 2024.
Child Development Units are preferred, but not required.

*Enrichment Teacher:*
With the help of a team, the Enrichment Teacher would be responsible for teaching one-hour lessons in the areas of art, music, science and physical education.
Each employee is trained in our curriculum and provided with the materials to support it.
A homework component is also included in our program where you would assist a group of children during our study hall.
Applicant must have strong English and Math skills in order to assist with homework.
Ensures close visual supervision of children.
Complete written incident reports as necessary with assistance from the Site Supervisor.
Promotes a positive relationship with parents by making a point to greet them daily and informing them of any relevant information in a timely manner.
Will help with set up and clean up of each day and will offer support in other areas determined by the Site Supervisor.
Be familiar with company mission, philosophy, policies and procedures.
Staff members must adhere to the schedule below:.
*Hours:* Monday to Friday: 12:30PM-5:00PM

*Requirements:*
-A minimum of 1-year experience working with children, preferably in an after-school setting.
-Child Development units highly preferred, but not required.
-You MUST be reliable, punctual and have great communication skills (both verbal and written).
-The ability to walk, climb/stairs, stand, run, reach/stretch, bend, kneel, sit
-MUST have reliable transportation.
-MUST be able to work as a team.
-Has a happy demeanor, is creative, nurturing, exercises good judgment
-MUST be available Monday through Friday.
Please do not apply if you can not work Mon-Fri (unless you would like to be considered as a sub, we can work with varied schedules).
-Must be able to pass a Live Scan, TB test and basic physical exam.
We will accept current copies if they are valid and up to date.
If not, you must be able to cover the costs for these requirements.
-First Aid/CPR certified or willing to get certified
Pay Rate: Starts at $17/hour (Based on experience)
