We are hiring Camp Staff to work with children ages 4-12 years old.
Seeking enthusiastic and friendly candidates who are ready to learn and develop new skills.
*Seasonal Camp Schedule*
* Monday, April 1 - Friday, April 5
* Monday, April 8 - Wednesday, April 10
* Monday, May 27
*Summer Camp Schedule *
Starting: Monday, June 17th - Friday, August 23rd
*Responsibilities:*
* Supervise, lead and engage campers in scheduled activities, arts and crafts, games and recreational activities
* Keeps a positive attitude and show interest in activities and actively seek ways to include all campers in every activity
* Maintains effective relationships with campers, parents and AdventurePlex staff
* Arranges skits and leads songs with campers
* Follows and enforces safety requirements, policies and procedures
* Active participant in team meetings, activities, and tasks as assigned
*Education Requirement:*
Currently pursuing or completed a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of college level course work in recreation, physical education or a closely related field is highly desirable.
*Experience:*
One or more years of experience in community services and/or recreational activities for various age groups.
Minimum of six months prior work (or volunteer) experience with children.
Knowledge of recreational programs, day camp activities, and arts and crafts
Special Requirements:
* 16 years of age or older
* Applicants under the age of 18 must provide a California Work Permit
* First and CPR
* Must be able to successfully pass background check, tuberculosis test and drug screen
