A lovely family of four in Santa Monica is looking for a new full-time, long-term nanny to begin right away! Mom and dad are working parents to one 3-year-old girl and one 5-year-old boy.
The guaranteed hours will be M-F 12pm-8pm.
The flexibility to occasionally work additional hours in the morning, evening, or on a weekend day (with ample notice) would be very helpful.
The pay being offered is $35 per hour on payroll with standard paid time off.
The requirements for this position are as follows: 5+ professional of experience with children (beginning at the age of 18), current CPR/FA certification (in-person course), clean criminal background (Trustline registered or willing to apply), fluent English speaking, clean driving record with safe, reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement and monthly car washes will be provided), and covid vaccine with one booster.
The annual flu shot is a plus but not a dealbreaker.
The family does have two dogs (golden doodles) so dog lovers are encouraged to apply! Must be authorized to work in the U.

The ideal person for this position is someone the family can trust to take the initiative, both with the house duties and with the children.
Specifically, they would like a nanny who will keep the children engaged with reading, crafts, outings (parks, museums, etc.
) and playdates.
Within the home, this person will keep up with the children’s laundry and handle child related tidying/organizing, feed the dogs/let them out, run some occasional family errands and prepare meals for the children.
They are looking for a very organized self-starter and a great communicator with attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Must have the ability to follow busy schedules.
