On any given day, our staff members are involved in a wide variety of activities, including (but not limited to): team sports, performing arts, swimming, gymnastics, crafts, puppet shows, and so much more! Working at one of our camp locations means that you will combine interacting with kids, being outside, and using your creativity and imagination on a daily basis! 00/hour, DOE)* Camp counselors make up the bulk of our staff.
They are the most involved with the kids and are directly involved in the activities each day.
Counselors work both in the water and on sand, engaging with campers at every moment.
Special skills (dance, gymnastics, crafts, team sports experience, etc.
) are welcomed in this position, because it enriches both your experience and the experience of the campers*.
* REQUIREMENTS: -Energetic and enthusiastic -Ability to lead, control, and encourage multiple children at a time -Respectful and a team player -Previous experience working with children preferred *Camp MC (Master of Ceremonies): ($17.
00- $21.
00/hour, DOE)* The Camp MCs act as the face and voice of our camp it is their job to guide the counselors and campers through the day’s schedule.
They are the announcers of activities and help explain camp-wide games and cheers throughout the day.
In addition to that, they run activities and interact with campers in the same capacity as counselors.
This is a performance-based position.
REQUIREMENTS: -Ability to lead, organize, and command the attention of large groups -Familiar with the traditional lingo and workings of a camp setting -Comfortable speaking in front of large groups for long periods of time -Theatre and/or comedy backgrounds preferred *Arts & Crafts Specialists: ($17.

00/hour, DOE)* Arts and Crafts Specialists spend a majority of their day leading groups of kids in craft activities.
They must organize the crafts for the day and assist the kids throughout the activity period.
This is an arts-based position.
REQUIREMENTS: - -Able to set-up, clearly demonstrate, and assist with a wide range of arts and crafts activities -Able to execute simple crafts throughout the day -Can work with an immense amount of patience -Highly organized and efficient *Water Specialists: ($18.
00- $21.
00,/hour, DOE)* The Water Specialists are placed at locations with the responsibility of overseeing all activities in and around the water.
Depending on the size of the location, they will work either as the sole camp lifeguard or as the manager of delegated lifeguards, to ensure the highest level of safety for the kids and staff.
When the water is not open, they will work in the same capacity as a general camp counselor.
REQUIREMENTS: -Experience as a professional ocean lifeguard -Possesses EXPERT knowledge of ocean currents and safety -Prioritizes safety above all else-Naturally errs on the side of caution *TO APPLY:* 1.
