The Hope Street Margolis Family Center is a nationally recognized, upstream preventative health program of California Hospital Medical Center.
As part of a broader national effort to reduce health disparities and optimize child and family wellbeing, Hope Street provides a continuum of educational, medical, mental health, child welfare, developmental, and youth services that support families and children from birth through adulthood.

Responsibilities Position Summary: The California Hospital Medial Center Early Care and Education programs provide early care and education services for infants toddlers and pre-school children.
Staff within these programs are charged with nurturing and stimulating the social emotional language cognitive and physical development of each child.
Center-based Early Care and Education programs are open year round from 7:00 a.
m.
to 6:00 p.
m Monday though Friday.
Duties include: Planning and preparing daily classroom activities.
Direct instructional services.
Maintaining high quality classroom environments Daily record keeping.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: 2+ years of experience working with children birth to five years.
AA or BA in Child Development preferred, or a minimum of 24 Child Development units, including at least 3 units in infant/toddler development required.
Child Deveopment Associate Teacher or Teacher Permit preferred Current CPR and First Aid training required Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred.
California Department of Education Teacher Permit preferred Pay Range $19.
