*JOB ID 16280 - *A lovely family in Mid-Wilshire is seeking a part time nanny for their 21 month old to start as soon as possible.
Care is needed long-term Monday-Friday from 5pm-8pm.
There will be times when the family will be in the home while care is being provided.
The child enjoys listening and humming along to music and the family limits screen time.
The family is hoping for a candidate who has some flexibility for last minute backup care when the child is home from daycare due to being sick or for center closures during weekdays from 7am-8pm.
However, availability for this type of short-notice need is not required to be considered for the position.
There is also a possibility for additional scheduled hours to be offered at a later date.
A great candidate will be communicative, engaging, punctual, have high energy, and be creative when caring for the child.
* *Start date: *ASAP
* *Length of Position: *Long-term, minimum 1 year (2 month probationary period)
* *Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 5pm-8pm
* *Compensation: *$30-$35 per hour + gas reimbursement when driving the child
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Bedtime routines
* Diaper changing + potty training
* Driving child/daycare pick ups; furthest distance ~20 minutes
* Light housekeeping related to child
* Laundry for child
* Meal prep for child; eggs, mac & cheese, reheating leftovers, etc.
* Sending updates/photos to parents via text throughout the day
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience
* Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew
* Must have a valid driver’s license + clean driving record
* Must have a reliable vehicle to transport the child; car seat will be provided
* Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
* Must be UTD on flu and TDaP vaccines
* Must speak + write English fluently
* Second language is a plus; specifically Japanese or Swiss-German is preferred, but open to other languages
* Must be comfortable sending parents messages and photo/video updates regarding their child while providing care
* Willing to travel with the family + has a passport is a plus (up to 2 weeks at a time)
