*JOB ID 16273* - A lovely family in Hancock Park is seeking an active and energetic part time nanny for their 2 children, ages 2 and 4 years, to start Monday April 8th.
Care is needed long-term Monday-Friday from 2pm-7pm.
There is a small friendly dog in the home who will need to be let outside/inside and fed occasionally.
A great candidate will be attentive, gentle but firm with boundaries, have a positive attitude, reliable.
* *Start date: *Monday April 8th, possibility to start sooner
* *Length of Position: *Long-term, minimum of 1 year
* *Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 2pm-7pm
* *Compensation: *$28-$30 per hour via payroll + gas/mileage reimbursement when driving the children
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Bath time routines
* Bedtime routines, occasional
* Cooking kid friendly healthy meals for children
* Diaper changing for 2 year old
* Driving children; doctor visits (occasional), extracurricular activities, park visits, school pickups, etc.
* Engaging with children
* Light housekeeping related to children; picking up toys, cleaning up after meals, etc.
* Laundry for children
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting
* Eligible to work in the U.
S.
* CPR certified or willing to become certified
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Comfortable with small friendly dogs
* Vaccinated against COVID-19
* UTD on flu vaccine is a plus
* Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
* Must have a reliable vehicle to transport children - car seats will be provided (must be able to fit 2 car seats into back seat of vehicle)
* Must have 3 childcare related references from a paid + professional setting
*BENEFITS:*
* 5 days of PTO day per year
* 3 sick days per year
* Paid Federal Holidays off - Nanny will receive full pay for the following holidays, following the federal holiday calendar: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
If the family requests that the nanny work on a scheduled holiday and they agree, they will receive one and one-half times their regular rate.
