I have a collection of paintings by the renowned pop painter Symon.
He has a gallery in Ubud, Bali.
I acquired this collection of work directly from him.
I bought it for my gallery, and later realized it just does not fit in with my collection, which is primarily from Latin America, and I simply do not have the space to house the work.
This represents an opportunity for a serious collector of pop art, an investor, or a gallery, to acquire a great collection at below wholesale prices.
I paid a total of $6,500 for the 20 plus paintings, including the cost of stretching (with a wholesale account from my framer) onto very nice stretcher bars.
There are 6 huge paintings (up to 50" x 70"), and about 15 medium sized paintings, and smaller paintings.
All are currently stretched, except the six very large ones.
A realistic price for the large ones retail, is $3,500 each, so this represents an incredible bargain.

These paintings are priced at well below what he sells the work for in his studio in Bali.
I negotiated a super deal directly with the artist, as he wanted representation in Los Angeles, so he offered me silly prices, that would be passed on to you.
Also, I had the work stretched at about half of what any collector would have paid, since I do a large volume of work with my framer.
All of the stretchers were custom made, and are very high quality.
The canvas is also high quality.
These are original silk screen paintings, that are hand painted, and signed by Symon.
The realistic retail value is 5-10 times the cost of the work.
So, there is a real opportunity here.

Prior to that, many travelers bought their first print from Symon’s printshop in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Symon has work in the permanent collection of the Nekka Museum, which is the most prestigious art museum in Bali.
He is well known, highly regarded, and very talented.
He now creates international shows from ART ZOO in Ubud Bali-Indonesia.
