Hello! This GE portable dishwasher was purchased in September, 2021 and lived in the utility room of the house we just moved out of.
It has served us very well and probably has many years of service ahead of it.
We kept it connected to a large utility sink 24/7, but it is fully portable (e.
g.
: for events or as a temporary solution for rental tenants).
The tub is steel, so the dishwasher is quieter than most, which we enjoyed.
It is clean and in great shape.
I periodically cleaned the filter in the tub, which many people forget to do.
This is a solid, modern dishwasher, but there is one downside: the hoses have a particular chemical smell that has never quite gone away, which is most pronounced when it runs a cycle.
We recommend having it in a back room like we did, not necessarily in a kitchen.
Reviews of this model will confirm it's a thing.
Otherwise, it has been a workhorse.
There aren't many portable models in existence, and they tend to retail for over $600 (actual "street" price).
Considering its young age, we think the asking price is fair.
We also purchased a service plan from Assurant, which appears to be transferable and is good through 9/2027.
Sink coupler included, naturally!
Buyer will have to provide transportation.
It's a full-sized unit, so bring a truck or a cube van with a ramp or a liftgate (or a couple of stronger people).
The house has three steps on the porch, but once that's dealt with, the unit has its own wheels.
Cash is preferred, but Zelle is also possible.
Thanks for looking!
