The Opportunity
InCharge Energy is seeking a self-starting Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, forecasting, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.

The ideal Senior Accountant will have previous A/P, A/R, Payroll & month-end close experience.
We are looking for you to hit the ground running and be able to be autonomous while asking questions.
We are 60% owned by a public entity, so we need to close the month within a couple of days.
Excel and problem-solving skills as well as ERP Integration experience are highly valued.
What You'll Do
Hands on accounting operational functions – AP, AR, Payroll, Journal Entries, Financial Reporting
Facilitate with monthly closes, reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts
Review, analyze and enter vendor bills in Quickbooks Online
Assist with imminent integration into new ERP system
Support Project Accounting by accurately recording Bills to appropriate Projects
Compare Bills to POs to verify quantity and price while questioning variances
Assist with business annual license renewals, Certificate of Insurance, Credit Applications, Vendor/Supplier documents
Analyze and report problems/deficiencies to Management
Maintain financial controls and guidelines and maintain confidential information
Support CFO and Controller with ad-hoc tasks and projects
Your Experience and Capabilities
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
4-7 years of experience in accounting
Experience with Quickbooks Online – Integration and other ERP experience a plus
Great Excel toolset – Formulas (Xlookup, etc.
) and Pivot Tables
Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, team player
Capacity to work autonomously and identify deficiencies to improve environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and a task-oriented mindset
Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
US Salary Range
$90,000—$100,000 USD
