be/dVLnbhKawWk SUMMARY: Performs a wide range of accounting and administrative duties to support the accounting department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs maintenance material purchase approvals via text/call from maintenance material vendors Verifies information and ensures the timely and accurate processing of invoices into the QuickBooks accounting system.
Including, but not limited, to entering and creating invoices.
Verifies information and processes invoices for payment; prints and mails accounts payable checks.
Transfer and upload invoices from AppFolio system into QuickBooks accounting system ensuring accuracy.
Verifies information and maintains accounts receivable and accounts payables reports including but not limited to monthly sales, open invoices, and aging reports.
Interacts with vendors and department managers when processing a resolution of account discrepancies.
; serves as liaison between departments and vendors in the resolution of administrative problems and inquiries.
Enters Payroll data into payroll processing system.
Processes payroll in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy.
Performs payroll-related functions including but not limited to processing new hires, termination status changes, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposit.
Maintains payroll records and files including but not limited to sick time and vacation and other accrued leave.
Reviews, audits, and processes employee expense reimbursements; verifies accuracy of expenses and adherence to company policies.
Maintains accounting department files and records.
Completes month-end close such as reconciling accounts and runs monthly reports as required.
Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailing.
Assists with special accounting projects as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS: Two-year certificate from college or technical school, One year or more related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year’s payroll experience required (QuickBooks preferred).
Accurately keystroke a minimum of 50 wpm.
10-key by touch.
Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts.
AppFolio knowledge a Plus.
Acute attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
