The Accountant III position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in accounting and finance.
*Responsibilities:* * Prepare complex journal entries for the general ledger system on a monthly basis.
* Analyze general ledger and accrual accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Collect and analyze financial data to prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
* Assist in year-end closings and prepare long-term and short-term financial statements.
* Provide expertise and guidance on financial accounting procedures to team members.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plans.
* Coordinate monthly financial meetings and consolidation reports.
* Maintain and apply internal controls.
* Prepare advanced financial reports and complete analytical projects.
* Supervise other departmental staff as required.
*Qualifications:* *Education and Experience:* * Bachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent, or High School Diploma/GED with relevant work experience.
* Five years of relevant work experience in addition to educational requirements.

* Minimum 5 years of Accountant experience, with at least 3 years in a mid to senior-level role, including experience with the full Accounting Close process and Financial Statement Preparation.
* Direct hands-on experience in listed tasks/activities.
* Experience in mid to large/distributed corporate environments.
* Experience in preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
* Comfortable presenting financial results to Senior Leadership.
* Demonstrated experience in mentoring, training, and leading teams.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration abilities across all organizational levels.
